Earlier this week I decided to go to City Park towards the middle of the day, and I found a lot of people taking midday walks. I decided to take a different route this time and use one of the trails.

I feel like this allowed me to see more of the park's greenery and all of the trees that the park has. Some trees look old because they are really really big, and they all look very different. after doing some research I had realized that I had seen some swamp White Oak trees, which were some of my favorite trees. I saw on this little walk, they just really caught my attention.

As I've been reflecting through the week and through our classes, I feel like I've realized

myself that I tend to escape my reality and escape my problems by going to nature, and I wonder if that sounds selfish because I feel like I'm not taking in nature or the environment or it's beauty as much as I can or whenever I have the time, I feel like it just tends to be whenever I'm going through tough times, and I wish it wasn't that way. I really enjoyed this little walk and this little trip in the middle of the week, because I feel like it just helped me reset and re energize for the rest of the week.

Before I went on this little walk I had decided to go to a local juicer store and I got a chia parfait that I enjoyed while I went on my little walk. I feel like I've also realized that after I take walks like this I feel much more peace and much more calmness, which I feel like reveals the sense of liberty and freedom that nature provides for huma

ns when we actually decide to take the time to connect with nature. I also saw a lot of birds chirping even though it's almost fall, and I feel like every time I come to City Park I see more and more geese, and I assume it's because they like the chillier weather and they can slowly sense it getting closer and closer to the colder weather.
